Lilia Asha is a vibrant and soulful young singer-songwriter living in the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai. Hailing from a mixed British-South African heritage, her touching and earthy melodies are surprisingly deep for a 13-year-old. Her song writing stems

Born in Malaysia and raised amid the landscapes ofTunisia and Myanmar, Lilia's upbringing has been nomadic and colourful. Sheis a true global citizen with deep respect and understanding for different cultures and diversity.
At the age of 6, she discovered her vocal prowess duringa rendition of Girl on Fire for her grade I talent show. Shortly after that she stated with singing lessons and since
then she has never looked back: penning her first song, Sttep Back at just 8 years old and winning the coveted International Category for 8 to2 year-olds at Song Academy's Young Songwriter Competition. Following this success,she has been
building her talent through composing new songs, rmusic lessons, attending summer camps in the UK and regular public performances. Music runsthrough her veins and
is part of her everyday life.
From the age of 9, Lilia Asha has developed as a powerful lead singer in various rock bands at Starcle in Shanghai, gaining experience togradually hone a strong,magnetic stage presence. Beyond her distinct husky vooals, she is developing a
sure command of guitar, ukulele, piano and drums. Withher mentors at Starcle, she is also involved in exploring the possibilities of digital audioworkstations and musical
composition. Starcle has been Lilia's platform for perforrming, developing and growing into a solo artist in her own right.
A day after her 13th birthday, Lila Asha performed 12 of her original songs at her first solo concert at Starcle. Lilia Asha's lyrics weave heart-felt stories that echo the depths of young experience. With a voice that capturesraw emotion, she has explored themes of growth, loss, fractured friendships, and resilience in the foce of adversity. Her compositions are deeply personal yet resonate to young and old alike. With Rae, Lilia has composed a haunting ballad theat speaks of yearning
against conformity, evoking a poignant sense of longing for the title character's freedom and personal voice. Her song 'Ghost Housse' was inspired by the death of her grandfather, as well as the resulting gap left in her life and ther sense of England as 'home'.
When not making music Lilia Asha enjoys art, especially sketching and spending time
in nature. She is an advanced junior scuba diver and she loves exploring coral reets and interesting marine life. She also loves spendingtime with her friends and family
